The Red Room
has gone through many different changes since its origination in 1945, and has grown with Long Beach just as Fourth Street has. Located in a building that survived the 1933 earthquake (hence the nickname "Red Room Rocks"), The Red Room
has remained a small neighborhood bar, embracing everyone with our famous Bloody Mary's and our chilled 34 oz. Schooners, not to mention seven T.V.'s for our sports enthusiasts, free WIFI internet, a pool table and a digital jukebox. Skateboarding is a love among several of our employees and patrons, and they have provided the signed skateboard decks that adorn our walls.
Over all these years, the bar, patrons and neighborhood have all changed, but The Red Room
's motto has always remained the same: to provide a fun, local neighborhood bar that brings together the many different colors of Long Beach.
